I hate the new version of firefox...

Postby personn5 » Sat Dec 06, 2008 6:30 pm

Before the newest version, i didn't have to worry about signing in, just use the "remember me/remember this option" button on any site, after one of the latest updates though, always gotta go through the trouble of changing options every single time, signing in over and over, remembering my password, etc.

Just a random short rant >_>

I don't know why people would use Firefox in the first place. It's always been false advertising from the start. Switch to IE, Opera, or Chrome and realize that anything is better than Firefox.

I dunno, i just didn't like them. IE seemed too cluttered and... well don't remember my reason for not liking opera. But I got chrome now, and it works pretty good, guess i'll be using it from now on.

Chrome does feel a bit strange though, gotta get used to the tabs being at the top. And Gotta go from my dark Firefox skin to the bright blue of chrome

IE doesn't seem cluttered to me.. You know you can customize the buttons and positions of all the bars, right? Though I use IE6 and think 7 is hideous, so if you upgraded to that then I don't blame you for not wanting to use it.

I find Opera to be actually quite nice, except that when I CTRL+Tab to change tabs I want it to switch tabs left to right, not switch to whatever random tab Opera decides on.

As for Chrome, yeah the tabs being at the top does throw you off a little. What sucks about it for me is that they aren't supporting Windows 2000 so I don't get to use the newest version (managed only to install an older version).

My favourite/most used browser is AM Browser though, which is a shell for IE. Has the widespread support of IE, works how I want, and I'm simply used to it.

I love Firefox browser. Before using this browser I have tried Internet explore, Opera and google chrome, but found all the things in Firefox. In Firefox we can add on and extensions. Auto fill option is very good.

i used firefox for a while and being used to it, found chrome a bit strange at first. now i use chrome, i found it tends to crash less plus it loads pages faster.
